Job description
Batching Processing Set Up
Shift: 2nd, (2 PM- 10 PM)
Pay: $19/hr.
This position is responsible for accurately staging and preparing raw materials for the blending department by reading batch tickets, gathering ingredients, and ensuring all materials are ready for production. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, and forklift experience is a plus.
Job Description:
  • Read and interpret batch tickets to prepare production setups accurately.
  • Gather, stage, and verify ingredients for production.
  • Operate an RF scanner to track and process materials.
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials when needed (training available for the right candidate).
  • Weigh and prepare partial units according to production requirements.
  • Verify setups completed by other team members.
  • Identify and report damaged or contaminated materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the warehouse.
  • Sanitize utensils using the required three-step wash process.
  • Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Sit-down forklift experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Experience using RF scanners or barcode systems is a plus.
  • Basic math skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.
  • Ability to read and follow production formulas and batch tickets.
