Job Title: Manufacturing Technician - Optical & Mechanical Inspection Technician
Location: Santa Clara, California (On-site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support high-precision optical and mechanical inspection in a manufacturing setting. Our team values expertise in electronics manufacturing and optical component inspection to ensure product quality and process excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize mechanical and optical measuring equipment, such as oscilloscopes, autocollimators, and related test systems.
• Operate computer-automated test systems, laser alignment and test systems, as well as handle data entry procedures.
• Perform assembly and inspection tasks using hand tools, mechanical fixturing, and follow established procedures for cleaning and inspecting optical components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback that supports the development of new optical assembly processes.

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing, with responsibility for optical inspection of plano optics, including prisms and related components.
• Demonstrated ability to operate laser test and alignment systems, optical test systems, and familiarity with interferometers, laser rails, and optical CMMs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with proficiency in following written and verbal instructions and intermediate mathematical ability.
• Experience with basic MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the manual dexterity required for precision assembly and inspection tasks.
