Position Overview Global Guardian's Asset Security Division is seeking an enthusiastic individual for the Security Operations Center Monitoring Operator role to join our fast-paced Charlotte, NC office. The Monitoring Operator will cross train in Video Monitoring, Intrusion Detection, and False Alarms (FA). We are looking for a team member who is extremely efficient and wants to grow with us.

This is an entry-level position located in-person in Charlotte, NC.

Job Responsibilities Function as a point of contact for monitoring assets and performing security protocols Respond to events and alarms through Video Monitoring, Intrusion Detection, and False Alarms (FA) Act on security alerts, including dispatch of local authorities when necessary Able to handle life-saving situations utilizing event driven Artificial Intelligence Conduct online site guard tours and immediate response to panic alarms Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to, site protocols Maintain accurate records of all incidents and prepare incident reports for any events Perform other duties as assigned Experience / Requirements Entry-level position 0-3 years' experience in the security industry preferred, but not required Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to multitask and a strong work ethic Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other corporate team members and operational team members Position Type and Schedule Full-Time (FT), hourly, non-exempt position Pay Range:

• $18.00 - $20.00 an hour The Asset Monitoring Center runs 24/7 Hiring for 2nd shift (middle) and 3rd shift (night) - open availability needed Work Environment and Physical Demands Reasonable accommodation requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions effectively.
