Job Title: Medical Assistant Profession: CMA Specialty: Clinic/Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Not required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) via AMCA Must-Have: Experience with front desk duties Scheduling Clinic rooming Description: This position involves working in an ambulatory setting. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting both front office and back office tasks as needed. Key skills required include strong communication abilities and proficiency in scheduling systems. Experience in dealing with asthma and allergy patients is beneficial. The Medical Assistant must be able to adapt to various tasks, depending on clinic needs. No weekend or holiday requirements. There is no call or standby requirement for this position. The dress code is scrubs or formal attire appropriate for a clinical setting.
