Maverick Currencies is hiring a Proprietary FX Trader based in Salinas, CA. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
Trading from Salinas has a structural advantage that's easy to underrate. The Pacific time zone gives you the longest viable FX day in the US — the Asian close, the full European session, and the New York open all unfold through the morning, with peak liquidity hitting before lunch. For traders building a long-term career, that kind of stable daily rhythm compounds.
This role pays through profit-share, not salary. You trade firm capital and keep 60% to 90% of the returns you generate, based on your performance tier. Consistently profitable traders typically realize $50,000 to $200,000+ annually. The trade-off is explicit: there is no salary floor. If you are not profitable, you do not earn — the upside is that profitable traders are not capped.
Q: What's the minimum age?
A: You must be 18 or older to apply. Beyond that, age really isn't a factor — we've funded traders in their twenties, fifties, and beyond. What matters is your willingness to follow a system and respect risk.
Q: What support do I get during the program?
A: Structured education, one-on-one coaching, peer review sessions, and an active community of other funded traders. The coaching relationship continues after you're funded — it's not a course that ends.
