Job description

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Short Commutes, High Quality of Life

Location: Crescent City, California

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week

Compensation:

$160,000 to $200,000 annually, plus incentive bonus, depending on experience. Potential to earn up to $300,000 annually (based on productivity).

Life in Crescent City

In Crescent City, commutes are short, days feel less rushed, and it’s easier to leave work at work.

Being close to the ocean and the redwood forests gives you the space to reset, reflect, and recharge after the workday. It’s the kind of place where evenings feel quieter and weekends actually feel like time off.

For a provider, that means being able to breathe after a shift, spending less time in traffic, and having time to reconnect with family and friends.

About the Role

We’re hiring a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient primary care clinic. You’ll care for patients at a sustainable pace — around 3 patients per hour — with a strong administrative team managing scheduling and daily operations.

This role is intentionally designed to reduce burnout and allow providers to focus on meaningful, relationship-based care.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient setting
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Conduct physical exams and preventive screenings
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and ethical medical documentation
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and care team members
  • Follow established clinical guidelines and protocols

Minimum Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted California NP or PA license — required
  • National Board Certification (AANP or ANCC)
  • Current DEA license
  • 2+ years of clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome)
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
  • Interest in community-based, mission-driven healthcare

Compensation & Benefits

  • $160,000 to $200,000 annually, plus incentive bonus, depending on experience. Potential to earn up to $300,000 annually (with 40 clinical hours per week and seeing 3 patients per hour).
  • Medical insurance (HMO and PPO options) fully paid by the company for employees and eligible dependents
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% company match after one year
  • Roth IRA option with employer contributions
  • $50,000 employer-paid life insurance policy
  • Generous PTO policy (combined vacation and sick time)
  • Paid national holidays, including Christmas, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and more
  • Company-paid malpractice insurance
  • Full UpToDate subscription
  • Relocation support is available for those considering a move.

In Crescent City, where life feels more manageable, this isn’t the kind of place where patients are just another chart.

You’ll see familiar faces, know families by name, and feel the impact of your work every day.

At Stallant Health, we’re creating a clinic where providers have the time, support, and environment they need to practice medicine the way it was meant to be.

If you’re ready for a clinic where your patients — and your work — truly matter, we’d love to hear from you.
