Motive Power applications include industrial lift trucks and pallet jacks, rail equipment, mining equipment, and airline ground support equipment. The Quality Engineer works to support the manufacturing site and distribution center with any quality related issue, from supplier, internal processes, or customer concerns. They are responsible for the Quality Management System and support addressing issues.
Provide quality coaching and training of production staff
Bachelor’s degree, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
English language on communicative level in writing and speaking
Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5WHY, Statistical Tools, SPC, etc.)
Excellent PC skills
Familiar with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001
Team player - able to work independently
