Insurance Sales Representative

$36,000–$46,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Bonuses
Monday–Thursday 9 AM–5 PM | Friday 9 AM–3 PM
In-Office | Vacaville, CA
No Regular Nights, Weekends, or Holidays

We’re looking for a motivated Insurance Sales Representative to join our insurance and financial services team.

No insurance experience is required. We’ll pay for your initial insurance licensing course and first exam attempt. You must successfully pass the required licensing exam before your first day of employment. Once hired, additional training is paid and completed during work hours.

If you’re competitive, coachable, motivated by goals, and comfortable asking for the sale, we want to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Connect with current and prospective customers

  • Identify needs and explain insurance and financial product options

  • Prospect and build a sales pipeline through outbound calls, referrals, and relationship-building

  • Follow up consistently with leads and opportunities

  • Ask for the sale and work toward individual sales goals

  • Build lasting customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals

This is a sales position. We’re looking for someone who enjoys talking with people, setting goals, and being rewarded for strong performance.

Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, banking, automotive, or another customer-facing role can be a great foundation for this position.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $36,000–$46,000 base salary, depending on experience

  • Uncapped commission + bonus opportunities

  • Monday–Thursday 9 AM–5 PM | Friday 9 AM–3 PM

  • No regularly scheduled nights, weekends, or holidays

  • Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave

  • Additional paid time off based on tenure

  • SIMPLE IRA with up to a 3% company match

  • Initial licensing course and first exam attempt paid

  • Continuing education and licensing renewal fees paid

  • Paid training and ongoing sales coaching

Grow Your Career

You’ll receive ongoing training and coaching to develop your skills in prospecting, identifying customer needs, presenting products, handling objections, closing sales, and generating referrals.

For those with entrepreneurial goals, the experience and skills developed in this role can also help prepare you to pursue the opportunity to become a State Farm independent contractor agent and operate your own agency, subject to State Farm’s selection and approval requirements.

You don’t need insurance experience to apply. You do need the drive to learn, the willingness to be coached, and the confidence to sell.
