Job description

Job Summary

Reports to the Commandant of Cadets. The Director, Cadet Leadership Preparatory Program (CLPP), designs, leads, and scales UNG's preparatory cadet enterprise as the front door to Delivering the Corps of the Future, deliberately shaping foundational mindset, character, discipline, and readiness prior to matriculation into the Corps of Cadets. The Director serves as a strategic architect and exercises enterprise-level influence across UNG campuses by standardizing and assessing preparatory cadet development practices that advance America's Corps. Evening/weekend duty during peak events; off-hours coordination as required. Uniformed presence as directed.

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) and holds the responsibility of serving as a mandatory reporter for all Clery Act crimes.

Please be advised that any offer of employment is contingent upon your eligibility to work in the United States. The university is aware of recent federal changes that may significantly increase the cost of filing H-1B visa petitions.

As a public institution, the university's ability to cover such costs is subject to budgetary constraints and state funding policies. Therefore, while we remain committed to supporting international faculty hires, we cannot guarantee payment of any newly imposed or increased visa-related fees.

If you have any questions regarding the visa policy, please contact Monica Arrendale at (706) 867-4470.

  • Risk, Compliance & Safety Oversight - Ensure RMS packets, safety plans, waivers, medical coverage, emergency action plans, and candidate welfare considerations are developed and enforced for all CLPP activities.
