Cellar Operator – Boston BreweryBarrel One Collective (B1C) | Boston, MA Full-Time | Non-ExemptBarrel One Collective, home to leading craft beer brands including Harpoon, is hiring an experienced Cellar Operator to join our Boston production brewery team. This role supports brewhouse operations, fermentation management, filtration, and quality control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.If you have professional brewing experience and are passionate about producing high-quality craft beer at scale, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesExecute brewhouse operations including milling, hop additions, and wort productionPerform CIP/CUP and sanitation of fermenters, brite tanks, and transfer linesManage yeast handling, pitching, cell counts, dry hopping, and gravity readingsOperate filtration systems and support pilot brewingMonitor turbidity, CO₂, and O₂ levels to meet product specificationsMaintain accurate production documentation and logsSupport packaging and cross-functional production teamsMaintain safe, clean, and organized workspacesQualifications2+ years brewing or beverage manufacturing experienceStrong knowledge of fermentation, sanitation, and filtration processesMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work varied shifts in a production environmentForklift certification a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyPhysical RequirementsLift up to 50 lbsWork around moving machineryStand for extended periodsComfortable in temperature-variable brewery environmentsReady to Brew at Scale?If you're driven by quality, take pride in your craft, and want to grow within a respected production brewery in Boston, we want to hear from you.
