Ultrasound / Sono Tech – Gretna, LA | Day Shift (10 Hour)

What You’ll Do:
  • Verify physician orders and ensure procedures are accurately performed
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and obtain their cooperation
  • Operate ultrasound equipment independently to perform abdominal, OB-Gyn, and vascular scans according to protocol
  • Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission
  • Assist radiologists with guided procedures in various settings
  • Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and support departmental operations
  • Adhere to safety, privacy, and compliance standards during patient care
What You Need:
Required:
  • Valid ARDMS certification in Abdominal, OB-Gyn, or Cardiac Ultrasound
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification within two years of hire
  • Minimum of 2 years of sonographer experience, vascular experience required
  • Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred
  • Proficiency with ultrasound equipment, strong communication skills, ability to work flexible schedules

Preferred:
  • MFM experience
