Perm - Neonatology Nurse Practitioner in Macon, GA | Level-III NICU & Top Facility Looking for an exciting opportunity in neonatal care? Join a leading facility in Macon, Georgia, offering a collaborative team environment, competitive pay, and a chance to work in a state-of-the-art NICU. Quick Facts: Location: 888 Pine Street, Macon, GA 31201 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent Shift: Variable shifts including 10-hour weekday days, 8-hour weekend shifts, and 16-hour night coverage with no call Hours/Week: Approximately 36-40 hours Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Licensure/Certs: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Experience: Minimum 2+ years as NNP required, no new graduates; excludes RN experience Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (typical for review, actual compensation discussed upon application) Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (medical, dental, vision) Paid sick time in accordance with laws Relocation, licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements where applicable Robust referral bonus program Additional benefits include employee stock purchase, 401(k) with match, disability options, and more What You'll Do: Provide neonatal intensive care in a 66-bed, Level-III NICU setting Collaborate with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners on patient care Manage high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling procedures Minimize call, with weekend and night coverage as scheduled Offer expert neonatal support and education to families and staff Participate in clinical appointments and teaching duties with Mercer Medical School What You Need: Board Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) only; FNP or PNP certifications are not accepted Minimum 2+ years' NNP experience (excluding RN experience) Current Georgia state license and applicable certifications Strong clinical skills in neonatology, including advanced ventilation and neonatal stabilization About the Assignment: Join a highly regarded hospital that’s recognized for nursing excellence and serves as a regional perinatal/neonatal center.
