📋Position Overview

As a Material Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in keeping materials moving efficiently throughout the facility. You'll work with inventory systems, coordinate deliveries, support production teams, and help ensure aerospace parts and materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there.

🔧Key Responsibilities

• 💻Utilize SAP and other computer systems to manage inventory and material flow
• 📘Read and interpret blueprints and material documentation
• 📦Handle materials carefully to prevent damage to aerospace components
• 🚚Perform beginning and end-of-shift inspections on department vehicles
• ⚡Expedite materials efficiently while following company procedures and safety standards
• 🦺Wear proper PPE and maintain compliance with all safety requirements
• 💪Lift, carry, move, and transport materials up to 50 lbs.
• 🚜Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• 📋Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• 🤝Support warehouse, production, and logistics teams as needed

✅ Qualifications

• ✔️Previous aerospace industry experience preferred
• ✔️Experience with warehouse, inventory, or material coordination processes
• ✔️Strong computer skills and SAP experience
• ✔️Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• ✔️Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• ✔️Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• ✔️Strong attention to detail
• ✔️Excellent attendance and dependable work history
• ✔️Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• ✔️Safety-conscious mindset

💪Physical Requirements

• ✔️Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• ✔️Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
• ✔️Ability to work in a physically active environment throughout the shift
• ✔️Ability to safely move and transport materials
• ✔️Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
