Job description
Waterjet Operator – 2nd Shift (4-Day Work Week!)Work 4 days a week and get 3 days off - every week.If you're a skilled operator who values precision, consistency, and having a long weekend, this is the job for you.We're hiring a Waterjet Operator to run cutting equipment and produce high-quality foam and plastic components in our Fort Loramie Facility.About UsCustom Foam Products, Inc. a leading foam manufacturing company specializing in precision-engineered components for various industries. With state-of-the-art facilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality products, we have established a strong reputation in the market. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Water Jet operator to join our team and contribute to our production processes. This role will also be asked to perform a wide range of responsibilities to support customers, sales, and plant operations.Why This Job Stands Out4-day work week (Monday–Thursday)3-day weekends every weekStable, growing companyClean, organized work environmentOpportunity to build real machining/operator skillsWhat You'll DoSet up and operate waterjet and manual saw equipmentRead and interpret work orders and drawingsMeasure parts accurately using a tape measureMonitor machine performance and make adjustmentsPerform quality checks to ensure specs are metTroubleshoot minor machine or cutting issuesMaintain a clean and safe work areaTrack production data (materials, quantities, settings)What We're Looking ForExperience with waterjet, saws, CNC, or similar equipmentAbility to read a tape measure (fractions required)Comfortable reading drawings or cut sheetsStrong attention to detailProblem-solving mindsetReliable and consistent attendanceTeam playerNo waterjet experience?
