A candidate with electrical certifications, or strong experience with electrical systems and repairs would be a good fit for the overall team at LYB.

Hours: 6AM - 2:30PM M-F
Interviews will be in-person.
PPE Required. Contractor will need to provide their own steel-toe shoes. Everything else will be provided.

Job Description:
- Comply with all safety requirements resulting in zero safety violations. This includes participating in all safety related activities such as safety talks, behavioral based safety observations, audits, etc.
- Follows standard operating and LOTO procedures for all assigned tasks
- Operate, monitor and troubleshoot equipment used during daily manufacturing, with little supervision
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems (up to 480V), PLCs, HVAC, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Lead, train, and mentor maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to support production goals
- Performing scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, or structural issues this could include anything from replacing worn-out parts to rewiring faulty circuits.
- Maintaining the physical condition of buildings, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and minor construction work
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, often using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Maintain a clean work environment and all tools and equipment are in the proper location and storage units
- Must be able to work proactively and support other personnel and departments
- Must be able to communicate job status, communicate problems to proper personnel and understand how it affects other aspects of the operation
- Monitoring and ordering parts, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance tasks
Years of experience required:
- 10 years; 2+ years in a lead, senior, or supervisory maintenance role strongly preferred
