divh2Accounts Receivable Specialist/h2pThe Accounts Receivable Specialist provides financial, administrative, and clerical support by ensuring the company receives payments and properly records the transactions by posting receipts and resolving discrepancies in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. His/her job description involves taking responsibility for all outstanding payments issues on behalf of the organization. This person will help develop, plan, organize, and implement processes and future strategies to improve cash flow and manage the overall health of the companys AR./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliAssist with the day-to-day, month end, and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance Department./liliAccurately post customer deposits for multiple bank accounts and multiple entities daily./liliProcess incoming mail concerning billing and invoicing./liliCommunicate with clients and internal teams to promptly resolve billing discrepancies and questions./liliEngage management over any AR and collections problems you encounter./liliMaintain accurate accounting ledgers and supporting files as required./liliAssist with process improvement projects as instructed./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliAssociates degree or 2+ years experience in AR can substitute for educational requirement./liliAdvanced mathematical and logical deduction skills./liliMust have excellent communication and problem-solving skills./liliProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)./liliStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment./liliIntermediate to advanced 10-key skills./liliTeam player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization./liliPrevious industry related experience preferred./li/ulp(Reasonable accommodations will be made for otherwise qualified individuals with a disability.)/ppThe above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
