The Accounting Specialist is responsible for processing various accounting transactions to the general ledger and preparing a variety of financial reports and summaries, including account reconciliations. This position coordinates expense reimbursement, accounts payable documentation, as well as providing other administrative support to the Finance Department as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a 24-year college degree and previous accounting experience. A working knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles, strong organizational and detail-orientated skills, excellent written and oral communication, and strong PC skills in a Windows environment strongly preferred. This is an on-site position reporting to our corporate office in Solvay, NY.
