Job Type: Full-time. Mon-Fri 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Sat 8:00 am- 2:00 pm Hourly + Monthly Bonuses Pay rate $18.00-$23.00

Must have a minimum of 1-year experience as a Dental assistant. Requirements: Dental Assistant schooling is required. Dental Pediatric experience is preferred. Infection Control & X-Ray/Radiation certificate holder required. CPR/BLS certificate holder preferred. Spanish-bilingual is preferred.

Job Duties: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays). Take patients' medical history, blood pressure, and pulse. Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or dental treatment procedures. Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling). Take impressions of the patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth). Chart/enter a treatment into Dentrix Ascend.
Desired Profile/Background: MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN. Excellent communication and computer skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Clean, neat professional appearance. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus. Must work some Saturdays
