Executive Home Care of Southwest Broward County is a new non-skilled home health agency looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team in providing quality in-home care to seniors and individuals with health needs.

As a Home Health Aide, you'll help our clients live comfortably and safely in the place they call home. You'll provide personal care, companionship, and support with daily activitiesenriching lives and building meaningful relationships along the way. You will report directly to and work under the direction of the registered nurse administrator.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program preferred
• Active HHA license preferred
• Adequate health status to perform described duties.
• Ability to safely handle body fluids and hazardous waste products.
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
• Must meet personnel qualifications.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Provides direct and indirect personal care to the patient in the home setting under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Utilizes safety measures in the provision of care.
• Maintains effective communication with supervisor regarding patient's condition.
• Follows written assignment to deliver patient services developed by an appropriate health care professional. (RN)
• Documents and submits accurate accounts of services provided.
• Observes the patient for changes in condition and behavior and report to the supervisor.
• Submits required documentation in a timely manner.
• Adheres to the role of the Home Health Aide in the home setting as defined in state regulation.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
