Organization: SBCS (formerly South Bay Community Services) transforms communities to support the well-being and prosperity of children, youth, and families. For more than 50 years, we've worked throughout San Diego to provide safe shelter, transitional housing, intervention prevention programs, mental health support, and many other services that meet the ever-changing needs of our communities.
Program and Volunteer Overview: Three to five volunteers are needed, who are ready to learn about various components of Human Resources and are of support to our Human Resources Department. This may include supporting onboarding processes for a variety of SBCS programs, reaching out to applicants and facilitating the completion of clearances, and assisting the HR team with a variety of administrative tasks such as digitizing documents and organizing confidential files. This volunteer opportunity will offer firsthand experience in HR operations and work alongside the HR team.
