HR Admin

Jos Andrs is hiring for a HR Admin Position in Flatiron, New York City. Base pay starts at $22/hr.

ThinkFoodGroup restaurants span across America, including Miami, Orlando, Las Vegas, NYC, Chicago, and of course, Washington, DC. Soon Los Angeles and Dubai. Job Description

Jos Andrs restaurants have always been centered around our original mission, Change the World through the Power of Food! From fast-casual to fine dining and everything in between, TFG'ers know they all play a critical role in the overall success of our brands. We are looking for a part-time hourly HR Administrator to join our Team in our mission to Change the World through the Power of Food! The position will report directly to the People Director. Responsibilities/Tasks - Conduct audits on employee files/paperwork - Administrative assistance with document verification, clocking in/out, PTO submission, hourly payroll processing - Manage the hourly staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding - Maintain internal records by preparing, issuing, and filing documentation - Ensure orientations and training schedules are followed consistently - Keep employees updated on company announcements - Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently - Maintain company organizational chart and employee directory - Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives - Maintain HR systems and processes - Provide support and guidance to HR Director - Coordinate employee events - Various administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven track of Hospitality HR experience

  • People-oriented and results-driven

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases (Harri Preferred)

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

  • Spanish Speaker Preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
