The Event Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events hosted or sponsored by Erlanger Health System. These events may support philanthropic initiatives, service line promotion, employee engagement, public health campaigns, or brand visibility across the community. This individual plays a key logistical and operational role in ensuring that every event large or small reflects Erlanger's mission, meets internal stakeholder goals, and creates a positive experience for attendees. The Event Specialist brings strong project management, vendor coordination, and cross-departmental collaboration skills, and must thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Public Relations, Hospitality, or a related field
Experience: Required: 3-5 years of experience coordinating events in a nonprofit, healthcare, corporate, or agency setting - Strong project management and organizational skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed for events
