divh2Outside Loan Originator/h2pJersey Village, TX 77040/ph3Job Description/h3pThe Outside Loan Originator provides residential mortgage loans to borrowers looking to purchase real estate or refinance an existing mortgage and generates leads to increase production. An Outside Loan Originator works greater than 50% of the time away from the office./ph3Essential Duties/h3pReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to carry out essential functions./pulliResponsible for engaging in the sale of mortgage loan products and services to residential mortgage customers./liliEstablishes and maintains relationships with realtors, builders, title companies and other related companies to generate and expand business through the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional events. Hosts community education seminars for real estate professionals./liliIdentifies the creditworthiness of borrowers by examining credit reports, tax returns and assets./liliCounsels borrowers on the appropriate loan programs and educates them on the mortgage loan process. Responds to customer questions and concerns./liliOriginates mortgage loans, including pricing and locking pre-approved loan transactions. Discloses Loan Estimates and other necessary documents within the required timeframes./liliMaintains current knowledge of agency and investor guidelines as well as state and federal regulations./liliFollows up on leads, loan applications, missing items, and conditions. Ensures items are submitted prior to the service-level agreement deadlines./liliUpdates borrowers and their agents on the status of loan applications./liliOversees the production pipeline and resolves escalated issues to ensure loan transactions close correctly and in a timely manner./liliProvides superior customer service to achieve customer satisfaction./liliDiligently adheres to all provisions as detailed in Exhibit B of Employment Agreement./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pRequired Education/Experience/ppRequires a high school diploma. Must possess working knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, and investor guidelines and state and federal banking laws and regulations, such as TRID, TILA, RESPA, HMDA, FCRA, ECOA, SAFE Act, QM, UDAAP and Flood Disaster Protection./ppPreferred Education/Experience/ppPreferable to have a bachelors degree and many years of experience in originating loans.
