The Accountant will be a vital contributor to Well's Finance team as the company continues to grow and scale its business. The Accountant's key responsibilities will include maintaining Well's financial records and reports, assisting with Well's close processes, managing Well's accounts receivable and accounts payable, and supporting Well's annual financial audit. The Accountant will also assist the CFO and Controller on various strategic finance projects and respond to information requests by management and Well's auditors as needed. The ability to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) is a critical skill set for this role. Additionally, the Accountant should have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. As part of an early-stage, high growth business, the Accountant will also have the opportunity to be a hands-on contributor to support multiple areas of Well, including finance, business planning and budgeting, fundraising, human resources, and administration.
