We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical and adaptable Purchasing & Sourcing Senior Analyst to support internal and external stakeholders through accurate reporting, effective procurement strategies and cross-functional collaboration. The role is critical in ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of products while maintaining strong communication with both our parent company overseas as well as domestic vendors. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who excels at working both independently and within a team, can prioritize in urgent situations and continuously seeks to improve efficiency in purchasing operations.
Responsibilities include communicating with purchasing team and product management teams to identify and prioritize items in need of procurement/sourcing, conducting market research when necessary, establishing materials and purchasing plans, creating business reports, synthesizing internal and external information sources to develop recommendations, analyzing metrics and designing reports, providing competitive analysis, collaborating with the parent company in Korea, understanding the new product development process, fulfilling special project requests, assisting internal and external team members, maintaining knowledge of the industry, building working relationships, multitasking and adapting to changes, utilizing inventory planning and forecasting, identifying potential urgency, collaborating with other departments, and communicating with vendors and internal teams.
Qualifications include 5-7 years of experience in purchasing/sourcing, analytical techniques, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, problem-solving and analysis skills, strong customer service and communication skills, willingness to work overtime, bilingual in Korean/English.
