Must remain current on market place developments, insurance adjusting practices, building code changes and estimating technology advances./ppKnowledge/Skills/Abilities Job requires effective oral and written communication skills combined with excellent listening skills. Must be able to meet multiple, conflicting deadlines. Must be self-motivated, able to set and achieve goals independently with minimum supervision. Must have excellent software skills with Xactimate, Outlook and Excel./ppResponsibilities/pulliEvaluate all construction deficiencies located at Multi-family properties and determine improvements necessary for code compliance and to meet applicable minimum property standards./liliCreate comprehensive scope of work to repair property issues as requested by management./liliWork with supervisor to ensure the customer receives an accurate cost estimate of damages. Complete forms necessary for the delivery of a complete bid package and follow customer scope of work accurately./liliInspect job sites with client, sales and adjuster to prepare detailed scopes of work and repair estimates in Xactimate in a timely manner./liliCommunicate effectively and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters./liliFacilitate communications between the adjuster, the client and the Sales representative./liliProvide insurance industry expertise to the Sales representative during contract negotiations./liliProvide Operations with appropriate scopes of work. Help with hard cost estimating./liliWork with office staff to ensure they have all the proper documentation during each phase of the bidding process./liliAssist in providing proper information for invoicing./liliKnowledgeable of the Building and Construction industry, including but not limited to, materials, methods, and the tools involved in Construction or Repair of all aspects of the Multi- Family industry. Includes understanding Multi-Family construction drawings and specifications./liliMust be familiar with quantity material and labor take-off means and methods./liliUse critical thinking and problem solving to recognize construction issues as well as identify solutions to repair the construction deficiencies./liliPerform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned by Supervisor./li/ulpCAMP is an EEO Employer and compensation is DOE./p/div
