Maimonides Health, Brooklyn's largest healthcare system, is seeking a full-time medical assistant for the AHSN 48th Street Float Pool. The position is permanent with a transfer rate of $29.82.
Responsibilities include working Monday-Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM for 35 hours per week.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of medical assistant experience preferred, certification as a medical assistant, phlebotomy skills, passing a customer service test, experience with EMR systems and registration, typing at 25 wpm, knowledge of medical terminology, proficiency in Microsoft Office, good oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and bilingual skills preferred.
