Airgas is hiring for a Data Standards Specialist in Tulsa, OK! We are looking for you! As a Data Standards Specialist, you will be entrusted with establishing all new hardgoods materials correctly and timely in SAP. You will also be central to implementing and maintaining information records, source list, and vendor pricing in SAP. Identify and resolve pricing nuances, including discrepancies and confirmations, as well as material alignment issues such as invalid part numbers and discontinued items, within department established time tables. Gather information from outside sources and identify the necessary central material changes within SAP to align the vendor's standard with item numbers and units of measure. Collaborate on and review the changes suggested by the Buying Center Leadership and Product Leadership, including materials, pricing, info records, and source lists. Plan pricing updates for maintained vendors, including global, sales org, and plant level pricing. Advance the objectives set by leadership and ensure departmental standards are consistently supported. Align with the shared standards as defined in the company policy manual. Build relationships with all co-workers and internal partners in a professional and supportive manner at all times.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a proven background in purchasing, inventory control, pricing administration, or data management, typically gained over one to three years, and comfort and skill with Excel to manage data effectively. Preferred qualifications include a college degree in a related field, experience with SAP S/4 is highly encouraged and welcomed.
