Under general supervision from the Director, the Financial Aid Advisor (FAA) is responsible for counseling and advising financial aid applicants, their families, and the general public about financial aid requirements, eligibility criteria, and its availability. The FAA manages a caseload of students as assigned. The Financial Aid Advisor assists in the administration of federal aid programs available to all students. The Financial Aid Advisor maintains ongoing communication with students.

Occasional travel to attend financial aid workshops or training is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands along with fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
