Human Resources Internship (Unpaid)
Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital, a growing 144-bed behavioral health facility, provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults, and older adults, and performs behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility will provide a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family, and individual therapy.
Position Summary: The Human Resources Intern will work with the HR Team on special projects, various daily and weekly HR tasks, receive mentoring while learning practical HR skills in talent acquisition, hiring processes, employee relations, performance management, file maintenance, HR policy, and compliance.

Qualifications: Education: Must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program for Human Resources or related area of study from an accredited college or university; Minimum GPA: 3.0. Must have: Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Desire to learn and share ideas in a collaborative work environment. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task with accuracy and attention to detail.
