Strong analytical abilities with problem solving techniques, unconditional commitment to teamwork and communication./ppJob Summary:/pulliEstablish, manage, review, and communicate the master production schedule, for select items, to achieve Business Unit objectives for customer service and resource management./liliThe Planning and Scheduling Specialist is a mid-level technical position in the Supply Chain function./liliThe position is also expected to be a subject matter expert and is able to run cross-functional supply chain improvements. The position has the ability to clearly communicate complex data in an easy to understand format./li/ulh3Essential Job Functions/h3ulliPlan and control all scheduling activities supporting assigned items./liliBalance production and inventory levels with demand to support target consistent with On Time In Full (OTIF) 97%, On Promise 97% (year end avg.; ship date), and equal to or less than eight week lead time per line./liliProvide back up for the Supervisor, Planning Scheduling as needed./liliReview MRP and release shop orders/liliPrepare and issue batch records to production/liliTrack bulk inventory receipts to ensure stock is allocated for Fine Chemicals./liliCoordinate movement of raw material inventory between facilities and between item numbers, including support of specialized raw material items restricted to certain customer formulations./liliMonitor shop floor activities to ensure promise dates are met./liliClearly communicate complex data and supply chains to the business teams./liliUpdate and revise plans for changes in lead times, order quantities, service level and sourcing locations./liliAct as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the planning team./liliAnalyze and request lead time updates for produced items./liliMiscellaneous duties as required including rotation of after-hours support./liliExemplary attendance and adherence to schedule./li/ul/div
