West Pines Behavioral Hospital is a new 144-bed inpatient behavioral health facility serving Denver area residents located at 11455 Huron Street, Westminster, CO. A joint venture between Intermountain Health and Acadia Healthcare. Just opened in December 2024, the hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and intensive outpatient services to address the growing need for accessible, high-quality behavioral health care in the Denver metro area.
Recruiting for multiple BHA Positions Level 1-5: Pay range: $19.25 - $24.05. This is for a fulltime Night shift.

Essential functions include demonstrating a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety and providing excellent customer services, ensuring the well-being of patients and providing a positive, supportive and structured environment, conducting safety checks and ensuring that supervision is conducted at 15 minute intervals, documenting timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in patient's medical record, assisting in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for patients, significant others and staff, interacting routinely with patients, observing behaviors and communicating significant observations to nursing staff, overseeing or assisting patients with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, meals, snacks, hydration and changing bed linens, obtaining patient's vital signs, height and weight as assigned and documenting in patient record, facilitating patient educational-rehabilitative groups which cover a variety of topics including social skills, coping skills, anger management and independent living skills, engaging patients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals, completing and maintaining required documentation, assisting with follow-up and paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place in the facility, providing transportation for patient or coordinating transportation with appropriate staff member, demonstrating a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always, acknowledging and working to resolve complaints, recognizing that patient safety is a top priority.
Other functions include performing other functions and tasks as assigned.
Education/experience/skill requirements include high school diploma or equivalent required, six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred. Licenses/designations/certifications include current CPR certification up on hire or obtained within 30 days of hire, de-escalation and restrain certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
