Receiving Lead

This position is responsible for leading the Receiving team to meet/exceed all department goals of safety, quality, and productivity. Assists the department Manager/Supervisor with duties related to the daily operation of the department. Ensures team compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures. Prioritizes necessary tasks and delegates assignments to the receiving team.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Trains employees and ensures compliance with safety policies.
- Reports and addresses any safety concerns or violations immediately and participates in any incident investigation/follow-up.
- Leads pre-shift processes for their team and ensure KPIs are communicated, and daily objectives are clear.
- Oversees the daily duties of Material Handlers to ensure they are meeting standards and ensures process compliance.
- Distributes the daily cycle count sheets and ensures completion.
- Conducts forklift training for new hires and recertifications.
- Provides input and feedback to the department Manager/Supervisor for performance reviews, employee development plans, and training needs for the growth of employees.
- Responds to material requisitions in a timely and accurate manner prioritizes critical needs and delivers materials to avoid downtime.
- Manages the dock area, ensuring trucks are unloaded and materials are put away properly.
- Maintains inventory accuracy audits receiving transactions for accuracy in the system, and ensures all transactions are completed daily.
- Drives company pickup and box trucks to deliver & pick up materials from local vendors and external warehouse.
- Manages RMA process and ensures material/product is dispositioned promptly.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Proven attendance and work record
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds consistently throughout shift
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to be certified on a variety of power equipment
- Good computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Current Colorado Driver's License with driving record in compliance with company vehicle driving policy
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position is anticipated to start at $20-23 per hour.
