Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required License: RCIS or compact BLS Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Recent traveler experience preferred Description: We are a complete Cath Lab utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon. We provide complete cardiac and peripheral services. The procedures include left heart catheterization, right and left heart catheterization, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy. Carotid diagnostic and stenting, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including atherectomy. Pacemaker insertion, tilt table test, kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stenting, and thrombectomy. The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist will work an 8-hour day shift and rotate on-call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Be proficient in the various devices used in the Cath Lab, such as laser systems, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices. We have several C-arms and advanced cardiology systems. The applicant will rotate between scrubbing and circulating procedures, which includes operating x-ray equipment. Other duties include assisting with pre- and post-area, transporting, and assisting with inventory management.
