Provides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. This position works as an important role to provide the best possible healthcare in a caring way. We truly want our patients to be treated like family.
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants are preferred.
American Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest urgent care companies in the U.S. providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. Our center focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Each location is equipped with an onsite lab and in-house x-ray capability. Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
