Job Description
I. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite
II.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand current market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/capability, product and service knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges to deliver the lowest total cost of ownership for both products and services.
Maintain a strong network of suppliers, key stakeholders, and category team members to ensure timely implementation of new suppliers, products and services.
Lead periodic business reviews, monitor supplier performance, review root cause analysis and resolution, and monitor supplier improvement plans as assigned.
Develop and execute RFx's (Requests for Proposals, Quotes, and Information) using eSourcing systems to create the requirements, pricing matrices and post-event analysis.
Prepare detailed business case analysis and information for decision-making, e.g. supplier selection processes, supply alternatives, etc.
Oversee and support contract implementations, working closely with buyers, plants and functions.
Review and approve purchase requisitions.
Engage in the diversity procurement initiative to make diversity procurement more prominent within the organization and a commercial advantage.
Ensure all statutory, regulatory and internal controls requirements are met.
Ensure all procurement activities are conducted ethically, with integrity.

IV. EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Business Administration preferred; 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function.

V. POSITION DEMANDS:
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Appropriate PPE equipment/clothing when visiting manufacturing locations
- Occasional travel (20% or less, in North America only)
- Significant time spent on computer each day.
