Medical Assistant/Medical Group Scheduler

The Medical Assistant/Medical Group Scheduler will provide routine coverage of front and back office plus scheduling. Also, provides primary support to the provider by preparing the patient for the visit. Will additionally maintain efficient patient flow and assist the provider with treatments and procedures. This position will also perform activities to maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment. As needed, supports clinical team by providing patient care in the ambulatory care setting according to established standards of care, in collaboration with Care Managers and Medical Providers as members of the primary care team.

Qualifications

-High school (G.E.D) required.

-Minimum 9 months of work experience in office, healthcare, or customer service environment is required.

-Must pass EPIC competency for scheduling within 90 days of hire.

-One or more years experience in a provider office or one year or more in call center environment or similar environment preferred.
