Data Analyst
This role is responsible for compiling, analyzing, interpreting and presenting data about processes and results to support and enhance business performance & ensure the current and future profitability of our customer contracts.
This position requires a thorough understanding of financial and accounting principles. Ability to collaborate well with others, focus on continuous improvement, and a strong desire to analyze, investigate, and resolve issues based on root cause analysis. A strong critical thinking mindset and being self-motivated to manage risk and maximize opportunities for the business are key success factors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to the CFO for the businesses
- Support and manage bid processes through data collection, analysis, and reporting, while coordinating with the other departments involved in the bid and pricing processes
- Produce reports which include key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis
- Assist in identifying opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
- Develop models that help with decision-making
- Report directly to the CFO of PHI Americas and work closely with the Chairman of the Board and CEO.
- Perform other duties as requested
- Understand and provide visible support of Destination Zero
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Admin, Data Analytics or similar required
- 0 to 2 years as a Finance/Business Analyst preferred
- Computer skills (MS Suite) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done
