Massage Therapist & Practitioner Mount Pleasant, SC (Charleston) About the Role AURĀE Modern Medical + Spa is seeking a skilled, intuitive, and client-focused Massage Therapist to join our holistic wellness team.

This position begins part-time, with a clear and supported pathway to full-time employment as your client schedule grows. This role is ideal for a practitioner who views bodywork as both a healing art and a professional discipline.

You will create customized, results-driven massage experiences that support relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being in a professional med spa environment. You will work closely with clients to assess their physical needs and deliver personalized treatments that align with their wellness goals.

A strong commitment to client care, professionalism, and continuous learning is essential. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality massage therapy services in a tranquil, spa-like setting Perform client consultations & assessments to determine appropriate treatment approaches Integrate complementary therapies such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy when appropriate Educate clients on energy healing principles, self-care, and wellness practices Maintain clear, accurate, & respectful documentation of client sessions & progress Uphold cleanliness, safety, professionalism, & energetic integrity of treatment spaces Collaborate with other wellness professionals to support comprehensive, client-centered care Assist with planning, booking, & scheduling client and member appointments as needed Stay informed on developments in holistic health, pain management, and related wellness practices Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations & the client experience Required Qualifications Active South Carolina Massage Therapy License Strong knowledge of massage techniques, anatomy, physiology, and relevant medical terminology Experience providing client-centered care in a wellness, spa, or med spa environment Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Professional demeanor, presentation, and reliability Commitment to ethical practice, personal growth, and holistic wellness Preferred Qualifications Prior med spa or integrative wellness experience Experience with deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Strong understanding of pain management and energy balancing techniques Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 15 lbs. regularly, 25 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally Ability to perform massage and bodywork services for extended periods of time up to 15 hours per week if necessary Compensation & Benefits Tips and add-on service opportunities, where applicable Medical Insurance Supportive, peaceful work environment rooted in wellness and balance Why Join AURĀE This is an opportunity to grow organically, deepen your practice, and become part of a wellness community that values presence, intention, and sustainability.
