Toledo Clinic's Dermatology Office located on Secor Rd in Toledo, OH is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support in a very busy practice. This position is Monday - Thursday (7:00am - 4:30pm). Employee benefits are offered.
Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants. Sign-On Bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT/A). For candidates that have not yet obtained or need to renew their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants will be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.
General Summary:
Perform various clerical duties to support the operation of the office and as needed performs clinical duties
Works under the supervision of the Office Manager.

Required:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
- Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Registration or Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
- Medical Assisting Credential (RMA, CMA, CCMA)
- Adheres to all Toledo Clinic policies and procedures.
Education:
- Medical Assisting degree or diploma required.
Preferred:
- Previous clerical experience in a medical office.
