Position: Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) $$SN$$
Location: Westminster, Colorado
Shift: Days – 5x7.5s (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
Duration: 42 weeks
Job Duties
• Provide specialized educational services to students with visual impairments in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Develop and implement instructional strategies tailored to students with visual disabilities.
• Assess student needs and provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology support.
• Teach students skills related to visual access, orientation, mobility, and independent learning.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, school staff, and related service providers.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation.
• Support inclusive learning environments and promote student academic success.
• Participate in educational planning meetings and contribute to IEP development.

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license as a Special Education Specialist: Visual Impairment required.
• License must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred.
• Ability to provide specialized instruction in a school-based setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday day schedule required.
