We invite a compassionate and dynamic individual to join us as a Residential Aide for the unit. This role requires collaboration with the assigned unit as a team member to assist counseling staff in delivering a range of alcohol- and drug-related services by performing various duties.
Please note that all applicants must undergo a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as a comprehensive background check and a TB test.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Education: Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Must be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn the dynamics of substance misuse, alcohol, and its effects. Prefer prior experience working in a substance misuse setting or a human service agency.
Others: Able to communicate effectively. Must be able to follow directions.
CPR and First-Aid certification (the agency will cover all training and renewal fees).
Valid driver's license and insurability.
Basic computer skills required.
A Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification is preferred but not required.
