We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in the precision machining industry. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in CNC programming and manufacturing engineering who enjoys balancing hands-on production support with long-term capital improvement projects.

In this position, you'll spend approximately % of your time developing CNC programs for advanced machining equipment and % leading manufacturing engineering initiatives, including process improvements, capital equipment projects, and new machine implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop CNC programs for 5-axis machining centers, mill-turns, and turning centers
• Optimize machining processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds
• Create and improve workholding and fixture designs
• Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting machining and process issues
• Lead capital equipment projects from equipment selection through installation and commissioning
• Work with CAD/CAM software and machine simulation tools to develop efficient machining processes
• Partner with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering and CNC Programming experience
• Ability to create CNC programs from scratch
• Experience with CAD/CAM software such as CREO, Mastercam, NX, Esprit, Edgecam, or SolidWorks
• Experience programming CNC machining centers in a precision machining or metal removal environment
• Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, machining parameters, and manufacturing processes
• Capital equipment project experience is highly preferred
