Job description
Sam’s Club is seeking Member Frontline Cashiers to assist members with purchases, operate registers, and provide customer service at the front end of the store. Frontline Cashiers are responsible for scanning merchandise, processing cash and card payments, verifying memberships, assisting members with questions, handling returns when needed, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Associates may also assist with self-checkout stations and help members with large purchases. This position typically pays $15 to $19 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, holiday pay, and performance-based raises depending on location and experience. Frontline Cashiers are responsible for providing friendly customer service, scanning items quickly and accurately, handling transactions, verifying memberships, assisting with self-checkout, answering member questions, and maintaining front-end organization and cleanliness. Employees must follow Sam’s Club customer service policies, cash handling procedures, and front-end operational guidelines. Full-time and part-time employees may be eligible for benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, Sam’s Club membership, employee discount programs, tuition assistance through Live Better U, and opportunities for advancement into Team Lead or Supervisor roles. Some locations may also offer attendance incentives, holiday pay, and performance bonuses.
