Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $32.00 to $37.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide general office support by ordering, restocking, and organizing shared supplies and common areas.
Assist with daily administrative tasks such as opening, scanning, and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing items.
Support basic accounting activities, including entry level accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
Coordinate simple meeting logistics by distributing agendas and prompting team members for updates.
Collaborate closely with accounting staff and provide day to day support to ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements:
Ability to work independently with limited onsite supervision while reporting to remote leadership.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail across both accounting and administrative tasks.
Willingness to support routine office needs and take ownership of shared responsibilities.
Comfort working onsite on a full time basis and engaging daily with the team.
Positive attitude and dependable approach to supporting a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a junior level accounting or clerical role.
Familiarity with basic accounting functions such as payables, receivables, and record keeping.
Proven ability to stay organized and manage multiple small tasks throughout the day.
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable balancing accounting support with office administration duties.
Team oriented mindset with strong communication skills and a helpful approach.
