This is a part time position, approximately 10-15 hours a week. Hours depend on nature of requests.
As a learning-processing company, The Ladder Method believes in our philosophy: that coaching is more than homework help - coaching is accessibility to content and encouraging students to learn how they learn!
Our instructors, teachers, and private coaches have graduated from the nation’s top Universities, but what truly sets them apart is their warm professionalism, their passion for education, and their enthusiasm for working with people on creating great habits and study skills.
We are looking for coaches who are passionate about teaching Time Management and Study Skills with students who have learning differences.
We are looking for coaches who have a background in psychology or educational therapy and have very firm boundaries with teenagers/young adults.
We are looking for LMFT counselors and coaches with a background in Clinical or Educational Psychology.

Our company services the following areas in-person:Greater Central Los Angeles area: Beverly Hills, Bel Air, West Hollywood, Culver City, West HollywoodLos Angeles East area: Hancock Park, Los Feliz, West Adams, Hollywood Hills, Hollywood Hills East, SilverlakeLos Angeles West area: Brentwood, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, West Los Angeles, Venice, Playa Del ReyGreater San Fernando Valley Area: Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana, CalabasasOrange County, CASan Diego, CANew York City and surrounding areasChicago, IL and surrounding suburbs
We are currently looking to fill tutor positions now and for next school year.
Qualifications:
  • BA or BS or higher required
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
  • Firm boundaries
  • Available for weekday afternoons and evenings and one weekend day either Saturday or Sunday
  • Available for up to 12-15 hours per week
  • Experience serving high net-worth clients a plus
  • Experience in Independent and Private schools HIGHLY DESIRED
  • This is a great opportunity for those in psychology or education master's programs looking for a part time position.

Benefits:
  • Mileage reimbursement

Compensation depends on experience and is for IN PERSON tutoring.Please note the upper range of compensation is for advanced degrees and experience.
