A Day in the Life of a Talent Sourcing Specialist

• Interview candidates for open opportunities
• Schedule upcoming meetings, interviews, screenings, and check-ins
• Assist candidates with hiring process, questions, and employment inquiries in a timely manner
• Meet with your team to brainstorm new and exciting ways to attract talent
• Use your creative thinking to attract candidates
• Apply your marketing skills to our postings, social media sites, and the community to help attract talent
• Use your people skills and interview techniques to find the right candidates for current opportunities
• Seek out opportunities to build relationships and actively look for a way to impact these relationships in a positive way
• Develop and maintain excellent communication skills

Qualifications for a Talent Sourcing Specialist

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Customer service experience
• Ability to maintain accurate detailed notes
• Effective time management skills

Preferred Qualifications for a Talent Sourcing Specialist

• Dedicated, reliable, self-motivated, competitive, adaptable, brave, fun, purple-squirrel-like
• Above average Ping-Pong Player
• Plays a musical instrument
• Desire to learn about different industries and career paths
• One year of recruiting, or human resources experience including recruiting and/or employment hiring process
• Previous experience with HRIS or ATS system
