Join the compassionate team at Heritage Senior Care as a Caregiver! We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide essential support to individuals in private homes. As a Caregiver, you will focus on enhancing the quality of life for those in your care by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being with dignity.
Case Details: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays 11:00am-8:00pm/12:00pm-8:00pm.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist clients with mobility or transfers
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding client information
Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
Must have a current HCA, Livescan, and have a current TB test within the last 90 days or will be getting one within 7 days of hire
Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or working in assisted living is preferred
Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively
Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients
Certification in first aid is a plus but not required; training may be provided
