Under general supervision of the Executive Director of Transportation or delegate, the Logistics Specialist engages in the routing, dispatch, and the call center processes of the department as described in the essential duties and responsibilities below as well as established departmental guidelines and procedures. The Logistics Specialist also performs other related duties as required or assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and is occasionally required to walk, stand, lift/carry, push/pull, balance, reach/handle objects, and perform repetitive motions. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
Work is performed generally in an office with occasional road trips required. Work may involve exposure to road hazards. This position is subject to random drug testing under Department of Transportation guidelines and in compliance with the District's Anti-drug and alcohol policy
