Receiving Associate

Receiving Associate Day Shift:

• 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday Starting Wage: $20.50/HR Occasional overtime and weekend shifts Are you ready to build your career with a growing company that is leading the garage door industry?

• We are looking for a Receiving Associate to join our team.

Summary:

• The primary function of this position is to safely and effectively work in a team of 4-6 following receiving instructions. Essential Duties: Always remain safety conscious.
• Ability to create and maintain relationships.
• High level of attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret orders.
• Sound judgment, decision making and problem-solving skills in all situations.
• Strong customer focus for both internal and external customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 75 lbs. overhead.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written, to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols.
• Have prompt and reliable attendance.
• Receive raw material and verify against the packing slip.
• Accurately code and receive goods to the proper location.
• Supply material as needed and/or requested to the production line and other departments.
• Assist in preparation for, and completion of inventory. Generate labels as required.
• Keep all parts adequately stocked. Communicate with Supervisor or Purchasing Department when materials/supplies are running low.

Education and Experience:

• High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above. Equipment used: Bander Chop Saw Section carts Safety gloves and glasses ANSI approved work boots or shoes Applicant must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
